A superb Hardy Perfect with the iconic 1912 internal check mechanism with rarely seen ‘Rings up’ design. Red agate line guard – No cracks. Original white handle, brass strapped rim tension regulator, smooth brass foot and Hardy details stamped to face plate. Turns lovely with no drum rock. A very good tight reel. This is the second example I have seen with red gate, ‘Rings up’ and 1912 check. Exceptionally rare.
