TT opinion: A rare and fine Hardy Perfect 3 5/8” alloy trout fly reel with 1912 check and red agate line guide. A fresh to the market example and completely original. Factory white handle in brass cusp seat. The winding plate stamped Hardy’s Pat. Alnwick in center circle boss. The strapped tension regulator works well as does the 1912 internal check assembly. The factory-fitted red agate line guide is correct with NO cracks. It comes in the original Hardy Pat. Nickle frame. No drum rock or play, line burns or corrosion. A rare example in fine honest collectors condition and will be a welcome addition to any cabinet display
