TT opinion: Here’s one you don’t see every day – A very rare 3 1/4″ Hardy Salmon Perfect reel just in. Part of a super collection. A fine vintage classic Hardy Perfect 3 1/4″ diameter wide drum salmon fly reel, with rim tension adjuster, original left-hand drum screw, the reel is right hand wind with twin internal springs and steel pawls. This would have had the black war time finish but has worn away externally. Superb quality reel, hand made in the Hardy Alnwick factory by craftsmen, built to last forever.
