Just arrived this fine and rare Hardy Perfect brass face narrow drum ( Contracted) reel in the small size – a fraction on a inch over 3″. Original white handle, smooth brass 74mm straight brass foot – Either side of one end on the shoulder, very lightly filed. Central locking screw and brass bridged rim tension regulator and 1896 internal early check with three later screws. Very light line marks to one rim. Turns silky smooth with no lumps or bumps.
