TT opinion: This is a fine Hardy Marquis 10 alloy fly fishing reel. The S is a narrow drum with a large line capacity. 3-3/4″ diameter, 30mm across the frame, Hardy fitted counter-balance spool, internal metal check. Can be fished left or right-hand wind. Comes with a Wf-9 & floating line and the original but slightly tatty Hardy zip padded case. The reel is in good original condition. Still one of the best traditional Alnwick built fly reels.
