Hardy Hercules 4” brass trout fly reel in fine original condition. Winding plate stamped “Hardy Bros., Makers, Alnwick” in oval logo and Rod in Hand logo, correct white handle, and smooth check. Correct 97mm pierced brass foot, original pillars and screws. A lovely example retaining most original finish. Very slight dent in rim. Circa 1890.
