TT opinion: An excellent value for money Hardy alloy trout fly reel. Hand built-in Alnwick. 2 7/8″ diameter light alloy fly reel that can be fished left or right-hand wind. Brake adjuster to the rim and correct 60mm smooth alloy foot blade fitting cane, glass and carbon fly rods. The reel runs smooth and well, retains most original finish with minor paint loss/ marks on the frame. A great value reel for smaller rods using say lines #3/4/5 plus spare spool loaded with floating line.
