TT opinion: A rare model Hardy The CC De-France 8’, 2 piece Palakona cane fly rod in original used condition. Nice and straight, estimated line #4. Lined butt ring, low bridge intermediates whipped in rich burgundy colour. Some of which have slightly frayed. A very attractive rod. Bronze suction ferrule, keeper ring. 10” shaped cork handle with polished light alloy sliding reel fitting. A stunning and rare rod. The cane is straight, 100% original & has seen very little use. It comes in the maker’s original fitted faded green cloth bag.
