TT opinion: A stunning and rare Hardy Cascapedia 4/0 Limited edition fly reel, No 320 of 500 worldwide. Bought, never fished, and used simply for display, it’s in as-new condition with no marks whatsoever. Serpent crank handle, backplate on/off check button, and rear drag adjuster with red indent marker dots. One of Hardy’s finest creations. It comes with Hardy maker’s COA card, No. 320 of 500, and signed by reel maker Ian. W Evans. The original white cotton handling gloves have a few tiny marks. Hardy red baize lined black block leather case with strap and buckle. House of Hardy logo impressed to lid. Correct outer card box and sleeve with matching number 320. This is a fine collectable Hardy reel and a good long-term investment.
