TT opinion: A rare late model Hardy “The C.C De-France” 8’6”, 2-piece Palakona cane fly rod in as new condition. line #6. Post-numbered rod. Lined butt ring, low bridge intermediates whipped in rich burgundy colour. A very attractive rod. Bronze suction ferrule, keeper ring. 10” shaped cork handle with polished light alloy sliding reel fitting. A stunning and rare rod. The cane is straight, 100% original & has seen very little use. It comes in the maker’s original fitted cloth bag.
