TT opinion: A very good example of the Hardy Altex No3 Mk5 spinning reel. Largest of the model range, it’s ideal for salmon pike or carp fishing. Left hand wind with folding handle, alloy foot slightly shaped at each end. Working bail arm, brass on off ratchet switch to top of gear housing. The reel retains virtually all original finish throughout, fish or collect.
