TT opinion: Hardy 1911 Model Line Winder in fine condition, rare Hardy accessory and still useable today. The wood base measures 12” x4” with a brass swing arm to lock the reel foot in place. The four-hinged wooden flat arms can be folded flat and collapsed onto the base allowing it to be carried on a fishing trip. Factory nickel spindle screw and washer. Brass folding upright has the Hardy details stamped to the side. Rare decorative antique Hardy collectable for display or use.
