A very nice 5″ perforated Sea Silex reel with twin tapered ebonite handles, ivorine brake lever, heavy duty latch, made by Thomas Appleby – Stamped inside with his initials. Straight unfiled brass foot, on/off brass check release to rim. Good tight strong check and in overall a very good example.
