A superb Hardy St George 3” vintage trout fly reel with three screw drum latch. Good smoke agate line guide in Hardy nickel frame, rim tension adjuster with twin internal check, correct 64mm ribbed brass foot. Ebonite handle, the reel winds silky smooth, no drum rock or play, a fine early example complete with Hardy cloth reel bag. Circa 1930s.
