George Wilkins & Sons Redditch 6 Piece Cane Trout Fly 8′ Rod With Original Sleeve

Here we have a rarely seen maker – George Wilkins & Sons Redditch – A 6 piece cane fly rod with cork handle and screw in reel fittings, dark green wraps with metal / brass ferrules ( One has a split), circular wooden butt stopper and what appears to be whole dark cane and S shaped eyes – some worn. The rod is straight considering the age and goes together without any issues. Unusual rod, not seen before and complete with original green 6 section rod sleeve. Stamped with makers details to first piece. Circa 1930s.
