A stunning G. Little Co, Makers to HRH Prince of Wales 15 Fetter Lane, London. 3.25” all brass anti foul crank wind winch. Dates c 1880 it one of the best examples I’ve seen retaining virtually all its original bronze finish. brass crank arm with polished horn handle recessed into front rim to prevent line fouling behind the crank arm. Smooth check clicker. All original screws and pillars with a correct 80mm smooth brass foot. Makers details script engraved to face plate. A scarce London antique reel to collect or fish, ideally with greenheart or split cane rods
