Farlow’s of London Extendable Metal Fishing Gaff

Farlow’s Extendable Metal Gaff. A steel fishing gaff with a black plastic ribbed handle piece. Stamped with “C. Farlow & Co Ltd, London” and also “R.W.” on the handle section. It closes down to 16 inches and extends to 3 feet. A belt clip is attached to the frame as is a hinged metal gaff tip protector which the point goes into when retracted fully for safe carriage and storage. This then folds out of the way when the gaff is extended. This gaff is of sound construction but would benefit from a clean and oiling of the telescopic sections to help it open-close more smoothly. Currently, the top section opens but the bottom one does not. Cosmetically it shows the expected wear to the finish of the steel.
