B James & son, England, with long cork doughnut shaped handle, 2 piece split cane rod, burgundy close whipped with red agate butt, bronze ferrule & wood stopper 28” cork handle, sliding alloy reel rings polished butt cap & red rubber button. Nice tight ferrule. Nice straight rod, great example or an J B James Avon rod with its original beige B James rod bag.
