Antique J Gillett, maker 40 Fetter Lane, London 2-1/2” ebonite and brass plate wind reel with ratchet check clicker, reel dates c 1880. The Gillett Co established in 1865. Polished bone handle, central drum screw, smooth brass foot. Some scratches on the ebonite backplate plate, no cracks, or splits. A good example of the rarely seen maker
