Fabulous Victorian fishing net assembly. 19” wooden arms to brass yoke & spring folding threaded block. Leather cord & early knotted mesh net. The hollow bamboo handle measures 30”, screw cap with extending wood section taking it up to 57” total. The butt cap stamped “S. Allcock & Co., Redditch” with their famous Stag logo. Brass sliding ring and leather carry lanyard complete the setup. A fabulous piece of wall art & rare to find a named example.
