TT opinion: A rarely seen Oliver’s Special 10, 2-piece split cane Carp rod by Frames of Hendon. Close whipped throughout, certainly fishable, but needs very minor TLC, the whipping below the butt ferrule needs re-tied and if you are really picky, you may revarnish it, but as is it looks great. 28” cork handle with sliding alloy reel rings and red rubber button. Plus,a similar Oliver’s Special By Frames in 7’6” length. Probably a stalking or spinning rod. Similar build spec with an alloy screw reel fitting, Light surface corrosion probably wire wool off. Both straight rods and can’t remember seeing a pair of Frames rods in one lot before. Both come in later cloth bags
