Pair of JW Young of Redditch classic vintage alloy salmon fly reels. Pridex 4” diameter model, grey bobble finish, 3-sided handle, smooth constant check click. Twin internal springs & pawls for left- or right-hand wind, reel retains all original finish, fine collector, user example with Cortland 444 peach WF12F line & backing. Plus, a similar Beaudex 3.75” diameter reel with backplate adjustable check. similar speck to the previous reel and retains 90% original finish. both reels date 1960’s. Both high quality redditch hand built reel that will last a lifetime if looked after.
