A stunning large early taxidermy Roach by J Cooper & Sons, 28 Radnor St, S Lukes’ London E.C. The glass bowfront case is gilt lines and measures 23×13.5×6.5”. Single metal round hanger to rear. No cracks to either end glass. all good. Blue backboard with reeded and gravel base. Inner paper label reads “Roach, Caught by H. Daw Nr New Bridge, July 9th, 1905. Weight 2-1/2lbs” Original glass, a fine case for any collector
