TT opinion: A fine example of the Hardy Uniqua alloy trout fly reel with a matching spare spool. 3-1/8″ diameter making it suited to shorter cane glass and carbon fly rods. Suited to line #4/5. Correct 60mm ribbed brass foot, twin internal check pawls and springs so it can be fished left or right-hand wind. The reel retains the most original finish and winds smooth. No drum rock or play and has a spare spool to carry an alternative line. Dating c 1950s. This is a super little vintage Hardy reel to collect or use.
