Rare & fine Hardy The Palakona 6’8”, 2-piece trout fly rod in as new condition. Hand-built in Alnwick. England. line rate #5. Rod No. J1564 dating to 1968. Light straw colour cane, lined butt ring snake intermediates whipped red-tipped green bronze suction ferrule polished alloy stopper keeper ring 9.5” shaped cork handle with light alloy reel fittings. The cane is arrow straight, the ferrule nice & tight. The rod has seen very little if any use, and comes in maker’s original fitted cloth bag.
