TT opinion: Just in from part of our Blagdon valuation day this rare Hardy Silex Major measuring a shade under 2 7/8″ across the back plate has twin white handles ( One is slightly loose), white handle trigger brake, smooth brass foot and the early circular turning regulator which arrived before the rim dial. Quick release spool and perforated face plate. No line grooves to pillars, no damage and loaded with horse hair line. A rarely seen model.
