TT opinion:
A Wallace Watson Patent vintage alloy drum casting reel. These are fitted reels with external brake and line casting controls similar to the Silex casting reels, but in many cases more complex. 4” diameter x 1-1/2” wide, matching twin crazed white handles and brake trigger knob. the drum is fitted with a heavy bar latch and a multitude of brake and tension controls to both the backplate and rim. Factory correct smooth brass foot. A scarce reel for any collector and is still fishable today
