Milwards Four Piece Greenheart Travel Rod 7′ With Drop Down Red Agate Ring

A lovely four piece greenheart Milward’s Traveller rod with circular turned grooved handle with brass reel fittings, wooden butt cap, brass ferrules and orange whippings with red agate lined eyes. The first eye bring a ‘drop down’ eye. The rod is marked with MILWARDS to the brass circular butt and ‘Made in England’. The rod has a slight set in the last two pieces. Made around 1910 in unnamed beige cloth rod bag. A nice piece rarely seen in this short 7ft length.
