A very good rare sized Hardy Silex 4.5″ diameter bait casting reel with three rim mounted control, cut away rim section, twin white original handles on the cross bar, caged drum and Hardy details stamped to back plate. Good strong check. No line grooves to any pillars. Circa 1900.
