With all the interest in the article relating to the Scottish collection of reels we bought post Xmas, it was no surprise another collection became available to us. This time the call came in from an elderly gentleman located on the sunny south coast.
He was mainly a fly angler but like so many of us collected a few bits and pieces that had taken his fancy over the years.
In with the Hardy fly reels; unusual bits include Dingley Rollo Silex pattern, Hardy Triumph 4” reel, Helical threadline reel, an Alvey Snapper reel for sea fishing. A good bundle of little used Hardy rods for trout & salmon were included too.
Additionally some modern unused Simms and Hardy clothing, waders, jackets etc. All high quality and we do buy these to resell as the new cost can be quite high
