TT opinion: An R James, Shilbottle, Alnwick The Master 9’ 2-piece split cane trout fly rod in fine condition, hand-built for Mr G P Ross it has seen very little use.  Green close whipped, red agate butt & tip guides, bronze ferrule, 6” cork handle with light alloy reel fittings, lovely traditional mid-action rod from this classic Alnwick maker, unmarked but ideal for line #5/6, comes in a non-original cloth bag.
