Rare Hardy “The Javelin Pike Rod” 8’6”, 2 piece Palakona, No.H5014, this rod made only for 2 years 1954/5, this is a 1955 model. Copper under whipped butt ring, green whipped lined guides throughout. one guide on the top section requires whipping. Bronze ferrule, wood stopper, 23” straight cork handle with light alloy reel rings, butt cap and red Hardy button. The rod is arrow straight and true, the ferrule nice and tight, it will make an excellent salmon, carp, stalker, or pike rod. This is a rare short production run rod, comes with the maker’s original cloth bag.
