A fine Chas Farlow of London 3.5″ diameter wide drum all brass sea trout to grilse fly reel dating c1890. Factory correct throughout, 100% original it’s a fine reel for any collector and can be fished even today. White handle, central drum screw, smooth crisp check clicker, binds a tiny bit as it turns . Correct 85mm foot blade with Fish logo . 42mm wide across frame drum reel, suits to lines up to #18, the reel retains most original bronzing. What is unusual is the reel is not engraved with Farlows name on the reel but has the Fish logo to the foot blade making it a little different for the collector A high quality London fly reel by Farlow. Will make a welcome addition to any collector’s cabinet.
