A fine antique Chas Farlow London Wickerwork fly fishers creel. Brass hinges and latch, the latch script engraved Chas Farlow, Maker, 191 Strand, London. This creel/fisherman’s basket is Approx 13″ long x 9″ wide x 8 1/2″ deep. There are a few minor broken canes but nothing overly noticeable and it is still very sound with a lovely colour to it. Thought to date to approx 1884-1895.
