J S Sharpe of Aberdeen the Scottie 9’6” 3-piece split cane trout fly rod, this is an early cane model. It’s NOT Impregnated so the colour is pale straw, the whippings are burgundy all through and it is suited to a 6/7 line, bronze ferrules, keeper ring, 8-1/2” cork handle and an alloy up screw reel fitting, been revarnished in its life as all these older rods have so the Scottie logo is removed, great to fish, straight cane with no damage, just a good pre-owned example, not mint collector’s piece but it offers real value for money. Comes with the maker’s original cloth bag.
