Hardy The Silex No 2 Vintage Reel With Red Rubber Casting Trigger 2 3/4″

A very scarce Hardy “The Silex No.2” vintage alloy drum casting reel in 2 ¾” diameter, c1915. Frame measures 24mm across, original factory white handles & red rubber casting trigger knob across the frame for overhand casting. Correct 63mm smooth brass foot stamped “England” to side, working rim tension regulator with brass Brake Indicator Button. Smooth check clicker, a delicate little reel in fine original condition and retains good lead finish.
