Listed in the 1930’s Allcock’s catalogues this Sea Dazzle bait comes in one size only, 1-1/2” long.
You can see the appeal of it. Multi coloured revolving blades give the impression of size and colour. Metal tube body rotating on a central bar with treble hook and brass swivel.
This one has survived well despite the salt water and probably a good fish catcher today.
Allcock claim “tests have proved that it will catch far more mackerel than any other spinning bait”.
Value in the £50 bracket, lure collectors love Allcock’s lures but I wonder how many have the Sea Dazzle bait?
